Erin (Eep) Prediger was born on February 4th, 1984 and resided in the West Mt. Airy neighborhood of her beloved Philadelphia.

A stand-out high school scholar-athlete as a field hockey goalie in Telford, Erin continued her career at Boston University (BU) playing Division I field hockey as a Terrier for four years. Her career cemented her as one of the best goalkeepers in BU history where she remains tied for the school record of wins with 52 (20 shutouts) and shares the record for the highest save percentage in BU’s history.

Off the fields, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in public relations and a Master’s degree in journalism from the College of Communication. Her life post-college consisted of stints in Washington D.C., and an exploration of becoming a veterinarian at Kutztown University. Ultimately, she decided to pursue a career in advertising at Saatchi and Saatchi in New York City before moving to Philadelphia as a member of the Tierney Communications team where she served as Vice President of Strategy.

A lover of traveling and exciting new experiences, Erin enjoyed trips to Kenya, Europe, Alaska, Montana, and Costa Rica (just to name a few!) with her family and friends. Each locale taught her something new and we all benefited from the experiences she had and then shared with us all.

Most remarkable, however, was Erin’s innate passion for all animals, including all those she adopted throughout her life. Erin adored her dogs, tortoise, cats, rat, and horse, and shared them with all who knew her. A Dr. Doolittle for sure, Erin’s compassionate heart was undoubtedly known by each and every animal who’s life she touched.

For those who have known Erin, every part of her was (is) extraordinary. Her kindness, humor, love, and passion for everything she did and everyone she met has changed us all for the better. This project seeks to continue her legacy and to celebrate life in all of its highs and all of its lows.
